Design and Styling Fee Structure & Pricing Guidelines
Shaping Interiors fee structure is designed to be adaptable to the unique needs of each project. The available pricing information serves as a helpful reference to give you insight into the potential design and styling costs while deciding what is beneficial for your project.
Shaping Interiors pricing structure consists of 2 pricing models
In this initial stage of design and styling, we focus on transforming ideas into designs and layout plans for the space. Sample boards of proposed materials colours, textures and finishes are developed.
For the 1st phase of the project the fees are established based on the information provided at the initial consultation and will reflect the design brief. The fees are set as a fixed price that is tailored to your project requirements.
Stage 1 - Concept Phase
Having established the concept plan, it's time to collaborate with any required trades. This phase involves meetings with trades, discussing solutions, and finalizing dimensions and materials, all of which contribute to fine-tuning the final design. The phase also includes time with arranging new furniture and decor onsite.
This phase operates on an hourly rate due to the unknown variables involved. Some project may only require 2 hours while others could extend to 10hrs or more.

You might also appreciate having someone review your design selections before finalizing any purchases.

Each project is individually quoted as this allows accurate pricing that captures the specific needs of the project such as how many pieces need to be sourced. The first step is phone conversation about the areas you would like assistance with, followed by an onsite initial consultation. Afterwards you'll receive a proposal with details of the design services for your project, allowing you to approve the start of the concept phase.
