Shaping Interiors was hired to design the interior and exterior color scheme, floor finishes, hardware, as well as select finishes and fixtures for a residential project in Mornington.

 

Merging coastal elements with a touch of timeless modern style, the focus was on selecting finishes and fixtures for various areas including kitchens, family bathroom, ensuite, powder room, and laundry spaces. A color palette was developed for the interior walls, ceiling, and trims, along with exterior cladding and window frames to harmonize with the existing brick exterior. The interior paint colors were chosen to complement the flooring finishes throughout the house. The selection of floorboards for common areas aligned with the color, size, and texture of wet area floor tiles, while warm carpeting was chosen for the bedrooms.

 

Shaping Interiors curated a cohesive selection of finishes and fixtures for the client, which was then shared with tradesmen such as the cabinet maker, painter, and tiler. During the concept phase, adjustments were made to match the client's preferences and suit their home, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort with the choices before the trades work commenced.
